My 25 pound cat, Jabba the Hut, is sitting on my arm. It is going to sleep. Jabba also likes to put his head or butt on my keyboard.

Admissibly, I am a fat broad. So yes, I really enjoy this show about how food is made on the History channel!

Original Dolly

You Are Original

You're one of a kind, baby! The jury is still out on what kind though...

You are creative, zany, and totally wild. You're all over the board, and having fun doing it!

People may accuse you of being totally random... you just have your own way of doing things.

You may go off in many different directions at once, but you always end up where you're supposed to be.

secretworldofdolly She tried to be hopeful. Maybe Ugo was still alive. Maybe she could learn how to rescue him from wherever he was taken.

secretworldofdolly Anthos tried to stop these thoughts. It wouldn't do her any good to worry so when she had no idea what to do just yet.

secretworldofdolly "What if they were taken to some sort of other dimension? What if they're imprisoned somewhere, being tortured?"

secretworldofdolly A shiver passed through Anthos' body. Some of her relatives had died, but what about those missing? Where were they?

secretworldofdolly Why had Grampa been allowed to live? Why had she? In some ways their fate seemed worse than those who had been taken.

secretworldofdolly The curse had taken Anthos' father and her three brothers, her grandmother, her aunt and uncle, her mother, and Ugo.

secretworldofdolly Anthos was angry with herself. Grampa had once tried to tell her about the curse, but she had refused to listen.

secretworldofdolly "I spent my life trying to avoid such knowledge. I figured that I'd die young. But now I need to know for my kids."

secretworldofdolly "Grampa knew so much about all things magic," she said. "And yet he couldn't stop the bad things from happening."

secretworldofdolly Anthos tried to stay optimistic although she didn't feel hopeful. Grampa had sought all his life to break the curse.

secretworldofdolly "Grandfather, if you can hear me, if there is any way, please guide me to breaking this curse and saving my kids."

secretworldofdolly Anthos decided that one of her first tasks would be to look through Grandpa Justice's diaries and books. He had so many.

secretworldofdolly "Until I find a way to break this curse, the evil will keep preying on my family," she thought. "My kids aren't safe."

secretworldofdolly She reminded herself that it was good to have this home and money to fix it up. But she couldn't forget the curse.

secretworldofdolly Anthos got herself a glass of water. She looked out at the moon. As she drank, she realized that her hand was shaky.

secretworldofdolly First Macy was born, then two years later came Fabricius, then Dagmar. Ugo disappeared last year when Dagmar was four.

secretworldofdolly Ugo had been thrilled. He had always wanted children. Anthos had wished that she could be thrilled. But she worried.

secretworldofdolly She and Ugo had been childless for 9 years. But while celebrating Halloween and her 33rd birthday, things happened.

secretworldofdolly Anthos was now 43 years old. She had never intended to have children. The curse on her family worried her too much.

secretworldofdolly Quintos Knepp and Paraskevi Marinos Knepp at one time had four children. Of these only the youngest, Anthos, remained.

http://ping.fm/QxP0p Take a break and play Dungeons and Treasures. Free to play, even earn a little real $

secretworldofdolly Anthos' family had actually been very wealthy in her childhood. Things were quite idyllic before the tragedies happened.

secretworldofdolly Anthos' mother Paraskevi was the daughter of a Greek shipping magnate. She had married the old money of the Knepp clan.

secretworldofdolly Anthos' father had been an Englishman, Quintos Knepp. He was the son of grandfather Justice Knepp. He had disappeared.

secretworldofdolly Anthos was a bright child. She enjoyed studying geography and sciences, but her favorite subjects were writing and art.

secretworldofdolly Mum had been an elegant and sensible lady. She wanted Anthos to be elegant and sensible too. She was disappointed.

secretworldofdolly Anthos had always been determined never to punish her children for being imaginative. Imagination was usually good.

secretworldofdolly Anthos had actually gotten in trouble during her childhood for having too active an imagination. It made her mum angry.

secretworldofdolly "Anty, your imagination is getting the better of you," she sighed to herself. "But maybe one we move in I can write."

secretworldofdolly Before Anthos could see the face of the shadowy figure, she woke up with a start. Her children still slept peacefully.

cats I am pretty sure that my cat is smarter than most people, and a whole lot nicer.

secretworldofdolly Anthos gasped in shock. A doorway opened in the attic wall. Smoke billowed out and a shadowy figure became visible.

secretworldofdolly "The door is opening," said the brave magician doll, brandishing his wand. "The evil one is coming through. Be ready!"

secretworldofdolly The brightly lit attic grew dark as a black cloud hid the sun. The dolls squealed and huddled together in terror.

secretworldofdolly "You see, Mama, the dollies are good," Dagmar said. "Yes, I see. But we must learn more about the evil," said Anthos.

secretworldofdolly "You must help us defeat the bad magic," said the queen doll in the gaudy lime-green dress. "Or it will destroy us all."

secretworldofdolly "This is good magic," said the magician doll. "But you can feel that there is also bad magic. We'll help you find it."

secretworldofdolly The big girl doll ran her fingers through her own golden hair. "This house is magic, Mama Anthos," she said.

secretworldofdolly "But in the grown-up world, dolls can't move and talk," she said. "So how is it that you are moving and talking now?"

secretworldofdolly "You're right," Anthos agreed, remembering how the dolls of her childhood seemed to come to life at times. She felt sad.

secretworldofdolly "We see that we make you nervous," said a green-eyed girl doll near the size of Dagmar. "Grown-ups forget the magic."

secretworldofdolly "We were up here for many years alone with no-one to love us. We feared we'd be tossed with the rubbish. You give hope."

secretworldofdolly Anthos crossed her legs and sat on the floor by the little table. A bride doll poured tea. "We're glad you're here."

secretworldofdolly The dolls didn't seem malevolent. They were happy and smiling. They hugged Anthos' legs. "Come join us for tea."

secretworldofdolly The children's clothes were un-mussed. Their smiles were perfect. They looked like giant dolls. The dolls milled about.

secretworldofdolly There was something creepy about this otherwise idyllic scene. The normally boisterous children were dressed perfectly.

secretworldofdolly Anthos headed for the attic. She found the children up there having a tea party with the dolls and stuffed animals.

secretworldofdolly That night Anthos dreamed that she was in the old house. It was no longer creepy. It was brightly lit and full of joy.

secretworldofdolly Anthos supposed that once the place was cleaner and more brightly lit, and the dolls cleaned up, they would seem nicer.
