Douchebags and Flashbacks

I try to avoid confrontation but last night someone decided to belittle me and attack me for no reason over my opinion on this stupid timeline. I don't like it. I'm a bit dyslexic and he gave me the condescending reason why it was so simple--as if it made me simple that I don't like it. He then stated that I would get used to it and then complain when they changed it. I don't even know who this guy is or how I got to be friends with him in the first place but I told him to piss off. I was bothered but going to let it go. However I ended up being reminded of why I hate confrontation. I couldn't sleep the rest of the night and then slept most of the day having nightmares about when I was physically attacked and abused. So fuck you, douchebag. Thanks for making me have to relive in my mind what I don't want to remember.

It seems to me that people are a lot ruder about little things these days. Maybe that's my perception. But how was it any skin off this idiot's stupid nose that some cranky old broad that he doesn't really even know dislikes the Facebook timeline? Jackass was just looking to stir the shit. And now thanks to flashbacks I am more upset than I should be over nothing.

Nor should they be. There is a little thing called separation of church and state that our elected officials are supposed to adhere to.

Thankfully I think (I hope and pray) that Santorum is too extreme to get nominated for the presidency. The idea of having a radical theocrat of his nature in the highest office in the land is extremely unsettling.

Perhaps there is something to this. However I honestly think that getting pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, preservatives, and substances such as MSG out of our diets will go a long way towards making people of all ages healthier. Also using real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup will help. I don't care what the high fructose corn syrup industry says, fructose is metabolized differently than glucose. Google Dr. Mercola and high fructose corn syrup to see the article.
Certainly any one or all of these measures would be better than the current blaming and shaming of larger people. One cannot tell a person's health by looking them. And converse to the assertion that larger people are constantly eating rich foods, the facts are that there is a high correlation between poverty and obesity. This would indicate that malnutrition rather than gluttony might be a factor in the rise in obesity over the last 30 years.

I've been watching Stephen King's Thinner, which was hailed by one critic as "A ghoulish satire of contemporary diet fever." Yes indeed! And I love it!
